My girl Lex proves that you can get away with anything in a sexy white bandage dress, bridal veil, sparkling clutch, and kick ass stilettos. Even the Boys knew what time it was.
$615. Yeah, I know....but look at it! I'm not usually into lots of sequence but this "Same Old Chic" silk top by Ashish Clothing is as necessary as the air I breathe. Gimme it now!

Hiatus. Can't wait to escape to the beach and let the sand swallow my body. So, while shopping for swimwear I found the ultimate store...and because I luv you I'll share my secret. Everything But Water is a site that literally has everything you need/want to wear on your body for the beach. The best feature on the site is how it's designed to give you the ability to shop per specific style, trend, or fit that you're looking for. Shop it now and thank me later.
Holy barbie-high. Lately, I'm noticing more and more girls are falling in love with this barbie/harajuku/super she-ro culture that's re-developing courtesy of Ms. Nicki Minaj (safe to say). It's cute, but...I say if you do it, do it in Betsey. Why? Because Betsey embodies everything that Barbie should've. Crazy fun colors, prints, adorable accessories, and enough tulle to make someone at Juilliard blush.
Thorough. This is the work of Jerónimo López Ramírez, aka Dr. Lakra, tattoo artist extraordinaire . His work beautifies human and non-human canvases. His art style embodies destructive beauty at its best. Born in Mexico in 1972, he's since presented his art around the world. Not just an ink-dermatologist, Lakra also embellishes found objects like dolls and pictures of pin-ups and wrestlers in Mexican magazines from the 1940's. He says that “Tattoo's have more of a purpose over 'pure' art". I agree. I'd like to see him corrupt Barbie.
Eff yeah! It hit 80 degrees in my city this weekend and that to me means that it's officially time for short shorts....My legs are saying "Siwy Spring 2010 por favor". I'm in effing love with the brain in Michelle Siwy's head. Her denim line is something that I call "smart" because it's not over-designed, over-bedazzled, or over-worked. Its solid, sexy, staple-piece denim that speaks for itself.
Amped. My bff Kelis is back with a techno/dance vengeance. FINALLY. She's absolutely electric...and she's a weirdo like me, thus why I heart her. Her single 'Acapella' is a blend of techno/dance awesomeness aka the perfect runway music.

Here's a sneak peak of the shoot we did at my apartment. I especially love this candid mobile pic because of how Idara's outfit complimented the photo of my husband Kurt in the background.
