No, the name's Rachel Roy...Not Rachel Ray!

The Most Under-Recognized Designer Award goes to...

My girl, Rachel Roy...And there will be no question about that at the end of her 2010 fall presentation which was inspired by Nomadic adventures in North Africa. I appreciate her subtle use of military details throughout the collection. Subtle meaning that you don't need a HL1 tactical hemlet and full metal jacket to wear it. She's genius.

Joan Crawford Approved Hanger...I hope

My girl says that my OCD makes me act like Mommy Dearest....That's not a good look.

Speaking wire hangers, I found this deep hanger on Likecool.com. I really don't know how I feel about it. It's cool none the less but I don't see myself casually hanging a hat or scarf on the Crucifixion....EVER!

I also found these insanely hot graphic nylons by Les Queues de Sardines.

While we're on nylons...Here's a pair for you tweetfiends.

Lorenzo steals my man...

It's Valentines day (gagging) so it's only fair that I post something about love right? My Valentines Day card goes to Mr. Marc & Lorenzo Jacobs.

Rumors circled about the two marrying in P-town but Lorenzo confirmed that their wedding took place last month in St. Barts.

My message to Lorenzo: Break Marc's heart and I will break your face.

Love the heavy exaggerated use of layers, blends of plaids, and contemporay camo's...but why so grey?

Oniomaniac.

Oniomania (from Greek onios = "for sale," mania = insanity) is a medical and technical term for the compulsive desire to shop, more commonly referred to as compulsive shopping, compulsive buying, shopping addiction or shopaholism.

Another common version of this syndrome is credit card addiction, also known as compulsive credit card use. All of these are considered to be either clinical addictions or impulse control disorders, depending on the clinical source: First described by Kraepelin in 1915, and then Bleuler in 1924, as oneomania from the Greek oneomai, to buy, included among other pathological and reactive impulses, compulsive buying went largely ignored for nearly sixty years.

...I think I have this.

Dope. I'd rock this with virtually everything. You could pull a serious fem rugged-chic look just by throwing this on with your girliest dress and some combat booties.

Doing lines in the 60's

I found this trippy striped 1960's daydress from a vintage store in canada. This color is delicious on brown and bronze skintones. I could see Michelle O. wearing this to a cute caj (casual) outdoor function...actually it has sleeves, she'd hate it. I'd personally chuck the matching belt and add my own to break up the print pattern.

Will work for Consignment

I'm on a legit vintage bender. Ever since I discovered a high-waisted stonewashed BB Dakota skirt reminiscent of the 80's and a black and gold huge logo Moschino fannypack, this spot has been a weekly destination.
